Dear Friend
I greet you in name of the candidacy of Democratic Liberal Center (CDL)
I greet you in name of the candidacy of Democratic Liberal Center (CDL)
who presents electoral list to the Local elections in Zurgena.
Zurgena, is unfortunately a town affected by political mismanagement,
unlike other populations, the various services to be provided by a
municipality not only has not improved, on the contrary, in the last
four years are even worse.
As you know, our party has always been worried by the problems of
people affected by the “irregular” situation in their homes, from the
national direction of the party with its President Sean O'Curneen to
the head, we have shown great interest in learning the status and
progress that have been occurring in recent years, it is possible to
attend the Sean O'Curneen intervention in the event organized by
various associations in Mojacar against "urban abuse" in May 2009 and
you may know that Sean also met with the delegation of concerned that
recently took part in the European Parliament, the only Spanish party
that expressed interest in receiving the delegation moved to Brussels.
Also myself as provincial spokesman maintain permanent contacts with
representatives of associations concerned to keep us informed of all
developments that happen in this situation.
If you reside in Zurgena some time, maybe you meet Juan Pardo Navarro
and that was even before the founding of the associations concerned to
lead the first protests and claims of people "cheated" by the excesses
of developers and politicians As for housing in this area and
throughout the Mediterranean coast.
At CDL, we consider that only from courageous political action can
bring a solution to this problem considering that the court may extend
merely measures the situation in time and position ourselves clearly
in those policies proposing two fundamental points:
1. Immediate legalization of an exceptional way of the housings already constructed.
2. Creating of clear and forceful measures to avoid similar situations in
the future.
We know that the celebration of the local elections on May 22 has brought to
different political parties, especially the majority in Spain
(PP-PSOE) to "promising" solutions closer to you knowing that you can
exercise the right to vote. Center Democratic Liberal will also bring
your concerns and Andalusian elections in general, knowing that your
vote can not be at the polls by not permitted by applicable law, CDL
also believes that this situation is seriously damaging the image of
Spain in your country and in many others of the European Community.
Finally I wish to express my solidarity and understanding about the
situation which has led to the circumstances of your house and I want
to express my disapproval of the various statements made by some
politicians to the European community living in the Costa de Almeria
and other Mediterranean areas and I invite you to visit the election
